in 1969 to advise a prominent Hong Kong-based family to make
investments in the United States. The initial focus was on real
estate, then venture capital, leveraged buyouts, and hedge funds.

In the nearly four decades

August 18, 2010 (Palo Alto, CA) – C.M. Capital Corporation (CMC) today announced that finance and investment veteran Bruce W. Madding has joined the company as President and Chief Investment Officer effective July 1, 2010. Mr. Madding’s credentials include a long and distinguished career in finance, accounting, investment and asset management, including 22 years with the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation in Palo Alto, California, most recently as Chief Financial and Investment Officer.

Capital Corporation. “His asset management skills and financial acumen are well-known throughout the investment community and will be invaluable to our clients, while his leadership and management expertise will help our organization to grow and thrive amidst the many challenges posed by today’s dynamic markets.”
Mr. Madding has been a member and Chair of the American Red Cross Investment Committee, an Investment Committee member of the University of California-Berkeley Foundation, past Chair of the Foundation Financial Officer’s Group (an affiliation of the largest national foundation investment officers), and is a member of the Investment Committee for the M Funds. Mr. Madding has been selected as the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient by Foundation and Endowment Money Management. He also sits on numerous other advisory boards.
A native of San Francisco, Mr. Madding earned his Bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He also is a Certified Public Accountant who worked in management positions with an internationally recognized accounting firm early in his career.
