| C.M. Capital Corporation
C.M. Capital Corporation, established in
1969, is the parent company of C.M. Capital Advisors.
C.M. Capital Corporation traces its roots
to Dr. Cha Chi Ming, an innovative Chinese entrepreneur,
who founded the Cha Group in Hong Kong during the 1950s.
His first company was China Dyeing Works, a textile manufacturer.
He later went on to form C.M. Capital Corporation in California
in 1969 as an investment company initially to manage his
U.S. real estate assets.
During the 1970s the C.M. Capital Corporation
investment mandate expanded to encompass a broader range
of financial assets. C.M. Capital Corporation was one of
the early pioneers of venture capital investing and remains
extremely active in that field.
Today, C.M. Capital Corporation manages
prime real estate, but also provides advisory and management
services covering a wide range of other asset classes. In
addition to overseeing substantial private equity investments,
C.M. Capital Corporation invests in hedge funds and real
property.
As well as investing for its own portfolio,
C.M. Capital Corporation, together with its affiliate, C.M. Capital Advisors, provides advisory services to various
Cha Group affiliates. |
